Doctor Shopping In Alabama

I get a prescription of oxycodone 30 mg from my doctor. But now he says that DEA said that he only can prescribe only half of what I was getting. It's not only me but all of his people that he sees. My question is can I go to another doctor and get percocet 10s since its not the same thing and mg and not get in trouble for doctor shopping? I live in Alabama.

Yes, that would still be considered doctor shopping.
