I've been on methadone pain management for over 10 years and recently moved from n.j to ny I need to find a doctor in nyc area that can help I'm on 200mgs a day

Both of you will find it much easier to find a doctor if you aren't calling around asking if they'll prescribe any certain medication, because most doctors consider that to be drug seeking behavior.

The best thing you can both do is to find a new physician and make sure that they receive a full copy of your medical records. If they can see what does and doesn't work for you, as documented by a fellow physician, they will be more likely to prescribe accordingly.
