Do Xanax Bars Have The Imprint Gg 249?

I was told these bars were xanax bars but they have gg 249 on them.

Yes, that is correct. This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, which is the generic for Xanax.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
