The oral swab is not nearly as effective as a urine screen with a much better chance of passing the test even if you shouldnt, but if it does show positive both will show positive for benzodiazepines. Not differentiating the different brand's.

Yes they do show up the same.if sent to a lab they can tell the difference.kpins are water soluble they won't show up in a test.10 or 16 panel test.

I'm am sorry I go to a suboxone clinic and had taken 5 blue Xanax and I have a prescription for klonopine but we're out so I needed benzodiazepines in my system and failed the only reason I wasn't kicked out was because it was my first test "new doctor" but had been taken klonopine for 8 years with suboxone and they said both were in my system. I do not want to see any body kicked out of their dr

I just did a 5 day jail sanction because I'm prescribed Xanax that shows as alprazolam, but I took Klonopin one day and it showed in the lab as clonazepam. Yes they are both benzos, but if tested in the lab they show up as different. I am living proof!!!!

Urine test or mouth swab? Just curious because I get mouth swabbed which I know is less likely to have benzos pop up but I believe they still send it to a lab.

If I took a swab test on a Methadone Clinic & and was clean for 3days from Xanax, crack,opiates should I still pass if I just bite down on the swab. I been brushing good,good led with mouthwash & peroxide? DO I HAVE A CHANCE?

The will both show up as Benzo’s on regular urine tests. However if the test is sent out to the lab I believe they can tell the difference. My boyfriend goes to a sub doctor who tests him every month. He is also prescribed klonopin but says they aren’t strong enough and don’t work. So he takes Xanax as well. His doctor will not switch him over to Xanax. Anyway when he takes a urine as long as the doctor doesn’t send it out to the lab it just simply comes up as Benzo’s. He had a false positive so the doctor sent it out and ended up finding out he was taking Xanax. He almost got kicked off of his maintenance program.
