Do I Have To Eat With Metoprolol

I've Been taking 12.5 twice a day. Once with lunch but the other around 11 pm. I don't want to nor do I feel like eating that late. It doesn't upset my stomach but can this hurt me!?
Also, am I not allowed to eat potassium due to this drug?

It can be taken with, or without food, it is entirely up to you and what works for you, it is not harmful, unless you are experiencing stomach irritation, have an ulcer, or other stomach GI issue.

You can eat foods that contain potassium, but you should be careful not to eat them in excess and not to take extra potassium supplements, according to FDA directives.
