Do I Get Knee Pain With Atorvastatin

Since more tha one yr i am taking Atorvastatin 20 mg,but know i have very bad knee pain in above muscel.This tablet can cause this pain,pl advice.

Since last year after my Angioplasty iam asked to have Atorvastath 20 mg,but know i have very bad knee pain in above muscle.This tablet can cause this pain,pl advice. Iam from India.

Yes, Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol can cause muscle and joint aches, as a side effect.

Have you talked to your doctor about it?

If it is very severe and causing your problems, you may need to try a different medication.
