Dizzy Two Weeks After Stopping Meds.

I was taking the methylprednisolone for some pain I had in my neck and arm. The doctor prescribed the six day pack and I followed the directions and finished the prescription. The problem I'm having now started the day after I stopped taking the medication. The day after stopping the meds I got incredibly dizzy. It's been almost two weeks now and I'm still feeling dizzy. It's not as bad as the first few days but I still feel quite dizzy. It happens all day long and doesn't seem to be effected by movement or food. Could I be having side effects from the meds this long after finishing them?

Hello, Marcie! How are you?

That would be very unusual, though some side effects can linger after you finish your course of it, they usually only do so for a few days to a week. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and irritability.

Are you on any other medications? Have you informed your doctor of the problem?
