I am a patient of myasthenia gravies and doctors have suggested I take Wysolone 10 mg for a week and then 20 mg for a week and then 40 mg for a week and then reduce it in the same manner gradually. I want to know if it will affect my health in any manner? Is this medication effective and what will be the consequences after stopping the medicine?

All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, but you should follow the instructions provided by your doctor to treat your condition.

The U.S. FDA lists the side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, acne, fluid retention and nervousness.

When you stop it, you may feel some withdrawal effects, such as headache, chills, and fatigue.
