Directions On Taking Pliva 434 For Insomnia

Does this pill work immediately as u take it or do u have to take it on a regular nightly basis to get the drug in ur system to work for ur insomnia?

This tablet contains 100mgs of Trazodone, which is actually an antidepressant that causes drowsiness as a side effect. It will work the first time you take it, in most cases and not need any time to reach efficacy levels, since the drowsiness is a side effect. You may also experience dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.

My Doc prescribed me "Pliva 434" (Trazodone 100 mg) as a sleep-aid for insomnia. Isn’t that an antidepressant? I should have the SL one, is that correct? Please help me.
