Diltiazem Hcl Sa Caps 180mg Vs Carti Xt Caps 180mg

I use to take Cardizem cd 180mg. I have lots of trouble with generics. I was switched to Diltiazem hcl sa caps some time ago (mfg TEVA) and have been doing fine. When picking up my scrips today, I was given Cardia XT (mfg Watson Labs) will I notice any difference? Are the fillers similar?

There are quite a few differences in the inactive ingredients, so if you're sensitive to them, you may experience some issues, but the only way to find out is to actually try it and see.

What types of problems do you usually have with generics?

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

Nausea, coughing, feel like coming down with flu, some brain fog. Did try can't take it. pharmacy is getting me the Diltiazem. It just irritates me that others try to say they are all the same, when they are not. The fillers is what I react to, not the main ingredient. I just object to losing 3 days of my life in order to prove the sensitivity.
