Diltiazem 120 Mg. Switching From Twice A Day To Once A Day

Per cardiologist, am changing from Diltiazem ER twice daily to once daily dosing due to sinus bradycardia (48 bpm).
How do I make the switch?

Unless your doctor instructed otherwise, you should just make a clean switch.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

Thank you for your response, but still wondering...
Since I am still taking the twice a day dosage of the 120 mg. Diltiazem and the cardiologist has switched me to the twice a day dosage (different pills), do I skip the second (evening) dose of the BID pills (coral colored) and then start the next morning with the new once a day pills (green).? That would essentially be "missing" the evening dose. But perhaps that would be better than taking the evening pill AND then taking the new pill in the morning, which would feel as if I were doubling up on the medication during one 24 hour period.
