It really depends on how long you were taking it, it could take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month.

My husband was on diltia XT for eight months and now he has been off of the med. for almost two months and is still getting the peripheral vasodilitation. Thank you for your reply. By the way are you in the medical field? I am a R.N.
