Dilauded DOES NOT show up on a urine test. I've passed EVERY time. It does not break down into morphine. ## It shows up if they are testing for hydromorphone. ## Does it show up on a 10 panel? My pain Dr. Writes 5 8mg. Dilaudid plus 1 60mg. Avinza 1every 24 hrs. time released morphine, I have been on the dilaudid 4-5 yes. Seems they don't work as well as they used to. Just switched from methadone 30mg daily for chronic neck pain. Herniated c3456. I was taking it 3x a day and it just stopped working. PM Dr switched me to dilauded 8mg 3xs a day. How ever it last about 3-4 hours. My doctor recently put me on long acting 12mg dilaudid and short acting 8mg dilaudid to take in between. Can I take the short acting dilaudid even though I just took the long acting? I've been taking 2-4 norco 5-325 almost daily for about 3 months. I have large cysts on my ovaries along with endometriosis and adanonmyosis. I'm in pain about 3 weeks out of the month. I'm having surgery on Thursday the 11th to remove the cysts and one ovary and burning the endometriosis tissue. I ran out of pills a few days ago and of course my doctor is on vacation and not responding. My friend has hydromorphone left over from a old surgery/ injury but what I've read says not to take it before surgery. I'm having some withdrawal symptoms and I'm worried the withdrawal will affect the surgery but I'm worried about taking themy before surgery also. Hello, first post here, I'm a 19 year old male, I've been doing opiates for a little over two years now, by illegitimate ways, I do have a herniated disc (L4-L5) and a pinched nerve root in my left leg, over the course of the two years I have gone up and down in dosages, ranging from 30mgs a day to now 4-12mgs a day. I have been snorting the medication though. I'm at a point in my life where I want to leave this problem behind and move on with my life, but for some reason there is something holding me back from accomplishing it. My dr lied to me and said she was giving me 2mg and .5 of oral dilaudid. When I explained .5 didn't do s*** for me last night, she said she would up the doses so cold get some sleep. I had my son c section on Oct 8th and another Dr drug tested my urine in Dec and the hydromorphone was still in my system I had an IV drip fir 2½ days can anyone help me figure out y it was still in my system a month and a half later ## Um and it was a urin screen. My 50-year old brother started taking dilaudid 14 months ago. At this point he takes about 48 mg daily. He originally started on it due to "mild" tennis elbow. I put the "mild" in quotation marks because I accompanied him to the radiologist and that is what they read out from the MRI. He has since claimed that both elbows are affected (very rare) and now he has pain in both hips. He has only had arthroscopic surgery - no major surgery requiring serious pain medication. Yet he continues to take dilaudid and even claims he still has serious, chronic pain. He has not worked in 14 months, he spends most of his time in bed and has stopped doing all he enjoys. My sister is under pain management and ran out of her dilaudid the day before her refill and so I gave her 2 of my percocet 10/325. She was given a drug screen to be sent to the lab and freaked out, worried the percocet would show up so she put powder from one of her lyrica pills in the urine! What do you think the lab report will show? ## She should be prepared to be dismissed. That is the most desperately ridiculous act I've ever heard of. Persons unable to follow medication directions should not be prescribed them. Even an irresponsible frightened child wouldn't have resorted to theft level. I suggest she seek professional assistance to have a mental and or chemical dependency evaluation conducted. Just being real.

Please does anyone know of a doctor that will definitely prescribe me dilaudid or other pain meds, I am desperate and Ni can keep bouncing from one doc to the next trying to.
