I was wondering if they make DILAUDID in the ER form also. Meaning time released form? ## Yes, they do. It's available in 8, 12, 16 and 32mg extended release dosages, it's actually called Exalgo. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am completely clean as of right now. If I take a 2mg dilaudid Tuesday will I be clean next Tuesday for my drug and alcohol testing for probation? I have a fairly high metabolism and like I said I am currently clean for all drugs. Will I pass my urine test? I'm pretty sure it's a 12 panel test. They test for everything. I'm 5'9 and weigh 120lbs. Please get back to me ASAP. I need to know!!??

I take one 2mg Dilaudid at night at 7pm regularly with one 50mg Amitriptyline and two 500mg of Tylenol. When I saw the Dr the next morning he wanted a urine test. He said that he could not detect the presence of Dilaudid in my urine. Why is this so? ## I Googled my dilemma and the result was the reason, that the hydomorphone 2mg was (short acting) which would be out of the system in 6 hrs ## Concerning my previous post, I had printed out my research and showed it to the Dr. He was satisfied with that.

equivilency of roxicodone 30 mg ## An equivalent dose of Dilaudid/Hydromorphone would be 11.25mgs. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Wow som1 who actually knows there conversion rates... 30mg oxicodone = to 29mg hydrocodone = to 60 mg of morphine = to 20mg meathadone = to 20mg oximorphone = to 12mg hydromorphone = to 600mcg fyntynal = to 30mg diamorphine, remember all these drugs have different boiavalabilties like oxicodone is 90% and hydromorphone oraly has a bio availability of 30-35% thats why it sucks. oraly bio is same. Through rectal and through nasle passage the bio is 55% and iv is 100%, tho bioavalibility varies wildly oraly from 10% to 60%, also hydromorphone is 60 times stronger than morphine when administered via iv. Morphine's bioavailability is 20 to 40% oral...

What is the difference between a 1 milligram liquid Dilaudid and a 2 milligram tablet? ## Hello, Sissy! How are you? The dosage and the fact that the liquid tends to work faster. Yellow pill with an arrow on it and no # on either side ## Hello, Bobby! How are you? There are no Dilaudid tablets that match this description. The FDA classifies Dilaudid as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you provide more details about the arrow logo? Is it raised, embossed? One solid shape, or detailed?

Is Dilotin ever in the form of a rounded triangle, line through one side with the letter "D" on each side of the line, and either an "8" on the other side, or two backward "3's" back to back? If so, what mg is it, and is it in fact dilotin? ## assuming you mean DILAUDID. then yes. thats an 8mg hydromorphone(Dilaudid) tablet. ## @Bean, Just to confirm, the pill you are describing is indeed Dilaudid (8 mg), a trade name of Hydromorphone that is used to relieve moderate to severe pain and severe, painful dry coughing. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Dilaudid Details Do you have any other questions or information to add? Is this an extended release tablet or an immediate release tablet ## This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 8mgs of Dilaudid in a regular release formulation, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, after taking it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am currently taking dilaudid 4 the white pill with the m onit but it makes me sick to the stomach is there another form of dilaudid 4 i can ask my doctor for cause it helps with the pain ## Hello, Carla! How are you? Have you tried taking it with food and/or milk, rather than on an empty stomach? That can often alleviate the nausea. Alternatively, your doctor may be able to prescribe something that will help prevent it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else have any ideas or advice to offer? ## Thanks. I wanted to kno is there a difference in dilaudid 4 white pill and dilaudid 4 yellow pill if so wht is the di...

is there a shorthage of ms contin and diladid in florida ## Jeff you get the problem figured out? I'm having a hard time finding a pharmacy with them as well. Would be great if I could find some help. ## I don't understand why there would be a shortage of MS Contin, and another medication you mentioned, but I'm sorry, I forget. Regarding the MS Contin, I used to take six 30mg tabs of time released Morphine Sulphate, and it was way too much for my little body to take. I finally got down to two 15mg tabs of ms contin, but why doesn't Florida have access to it? Do they think it's a "bad drug?" I live in Rhode Island and have no problem getting my opioids when I need to them filled. ## From all the stories I've been hearing - and that's all they are is ru...

why are zohydro so expensive? Hi, my pain Dr. just switched me from 4 8 mg dilaudid 8s a day to 3 4s a day and 2 10 mg zohydro a day. however I do not have insurance and the price is $480 for the script!! that's sick!! does anyone know if there is a discount card or some thing I can use for this script? ## intoxic8ted, Where are you? I use a discount card and I get up to 80% off. Also I do a drug cost comparison on the web and usually Kroger is the cheapest followed by Walmart. try these and see if it helps. ## Yes there are lots of script discount cards, but, like myself who went to pain management and paid for 4 prescriptions with cash for years, all the cards and pharmacies will not take them for narcotics and usually anything associated with painkillers, like soma or ba loves. I am on the Fentynal patch 100 mg and 12 mg of Dilaudid. I am still in severe pain. What can be prescribed that is stronger? ## Hello, Candie! How are you? How often do you change the Fentanyl patch? Some people that are in severe pain get better results by changing it every 2 days, rather than every 3. You may want to discuss that option with your doctor. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Will I get sick from taking 4-12 mg of dilaudid for approx 60 days? I am having a hip finally tomorrow. Thanks ## Hello, Boston59! How are you? It is difficult to say with certainty. It really depends on your own body and how it reacts to withdrawing from a medication like this. For example, when I had my surgery and was taking Oxycodone for a few weeks afterwards, I didn't have a problem stopping it, when no longer needed, but not everyone does well. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? How often do you take it? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## If you didn't use it iv. With a needle prolly not if you shot them good luck with hell g...

After taking a single 1 mg oral dilaudid dose, how soon would it be detected in a urine screen? ## Hi Kip, Dilaudid can be detected in your urine for up to 2-4 days after your last dose. Since you only took 1 pill, I can only speculate that you'd fall somewhere on the lower end of that estimated time frame. Do you know how many days you might have in-between the time you took that pill and your urine screening? ## Thanks for the answer, but that really wasn't the question. The question was how "soon" would it be detected once taken in a urine screen. Thanks ## I have to apologize for any confusion, as I'm having a hard time understanding the nature of your question. By "how soon could it be detected in your urine", my answer was, "within 2-4 days after yo...

How are you? I"m very sorry that you can't find your medication. The main issue is that we are now into the time of year when shortages of controlled substances usually occur. There are mandatory manufacturing limits for all controlled substances and, once a manufacturer reaches their allotted limit for the year, they cannot manufacturer any new product, until ...

Laws are crazy in FL. I just moved to Tampa from Pinellas County. Because my doc is in Pinellas county, I can't get the medication filled in Tampa. Because I moved to Tampa, I can't get the medication filled in Pinellas county. This is nuts! Also, I can't find a pharmacy that can order it in, even if I go to my old (where they know me) CVS in Largo, FL because there is some kind of shortage. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have been taking this medication for years due to Fibro-myalgia. It works and it doesn't pollute my liver with Tylenol, aspirin, or NSAIDS. Please help me find a pharmacy that carries, the generic, the name brand or the extended release Exalgo 12 mg. ## Ok..first, I have an EXTENSIVE background with pain medications.
