Different Medication Besides Dexilant

My insurance now wants $370 for 3 months of dexilant which I can't afford as I reached the donut hole on my part D. I started taking previcid 30mg but still having pain in my upper stomach how long does it take the previcid to work. I took a extra 30mg tonight .

They usually start to have some effect within a few minutes of taking them, but it may take a few weeks for them to reach their full efficacy level.

The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.

Have you informed your prescriber? They may be able to advise you on the best alternative medication to take.
