Differences In Generic Cymbalta Duloxetine

I've been taking generic Cymbalta Duloxetine for 6 months, since my insurance quit paying for the brand name. I've found that it made me more tired and more depressed. I changed to taking it at bedtime with much better results. Has anyone else observed any differences in the generic Cymbalta?

I felt the same way with the generic. It seemed it did more harm than good. My moods were all over the place. I also gained 20 pounds in 6 months. So glad im off it now!

If it was due to the fact that it was a generic, then the time of day you take it would not have made a difference. Those can be normal side effects of this medication, plus just life and stress in general could have made your depression worse, for a period of time.

Other side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.
