Difference Between 10meq And 20m Klor Con

My Potassium has been very low. I was taking 10MEQ Klor Con, now I take 20M Klor Con. Why can't I just take two of the 10MEQ?

You can do so, as long as your doctor approves.

The FDA warns that this medication is very harsh on the stomach, so it should be taken with food.
