Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine, which has several medical uses, such as treat allergies, short-term insomnia and nausea.
It is used in many over the counter medications, such as Benadryl, Tylenol PM and Advil PM.
It may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness , dry mouth and blurred vision.
