I have been taking adderall for ADD for a few years now and all the appetite suppressant effects associated with adderall are no longer there for me. Since phentamine is in the same class with Adderall, would it be pointless to take phentamine as an appetite suppressant or will phentamine still be able to help me with a decreased desire to eat?. ## Hello, PinkSlay! I was prescribed Phentermine 15 mg capsules....on the bottle it says Phentermine generic for Phentermine HCL...I have never taken a med of this type & I am kinda scared... I took lexamil for 3 months and gradually came off it. Now almost a month after i no longer take lexamil i have noticed that i am gaining weight rapidly and feeling bloated and uncomfortable all the time. Weight gain has occurred even though i am dieting and exercising currently. Please help ## Since you have already stopped the Lexamil, and you're experiencing the weight gain, and bloating, over a month after, it is most likely unrelated to the medication. Hi everyone. I'm new to phentermine (today will be the 4th half of a 37.5 MG pill) and I must say it's giving me some energy. I've had a couple palpitations but nothing horrible. I've got weird back pain, like in the kidney area bilateral sides of my back. It's not constant and usually occurs in the morning. I certainly don't want kidney problems but didn't really see that listed in side effects. I am just starting Contrave but have been on a keto diet for the last few months & feel good on it, but nothing for weight loss. Has anyone had any experience with Keto & Contrave? I know one of the warnings is not to take it with a fatty meal, but is it ok to have high fat in between doses? ## From what I've been reading it is best, overall, to stick with a low-fat diet while taking Contrave, the reason for this is due to the fact that a high fat content can actually cause your body to absorb more of the active ingredients than you should, which may lead to problems, such as more severe side effects, and possibly an overdose. I'm on my 4th week (2 pills each am & pm) of Contrave and I find my hands shaking when i'm holding something and my heart rate is way up. Anyone else go through this? I've been taking contrave for 3 weeks now and certainly have a decreased appetite. I'm having issues with constipation and a stomach ache in the middle of the night tho. What time is the second dose recommended? Perhaps evening rather than close to bedtime? I also get very tired after lunch and am wondering if changing my diet would help? Any suggestions? Finally, I used to have a few glasses of wine on the weekends and have a cigarette or two (yes I'm one of those smokers). I was on the starter pack for 2 weeks... Then my next level was not approved right away... So now it's been over 1 week with no pill and I'm still not approved for next pill of 7.5... Now I am nervous to start the 7.5... Really I am so mad. ## Have you discussed this problem with your doctor? What is a pink square pill with the letters DP on both sides ## What is a pink square pill with DP on both sides. I think DP stands for Dragon PHARMACEUTICAL. BUT I DON'T NO WHAT THE PILL IS. ## I've seen steroid description that look similar to this, in that they are often described as square pills with two letter imprints such as BP or DP on them. In this case, Dragon Pharmaceuticals does produce steroids, which only adds to my hunch on what it might be. I would encourage you to contact this company directly just to be on the safe side. They do have a webpage where you can write to them if you google their name. Since I started phentermine a week and a half ago I can tell that even my sweat pants are looser in my belly. I have had sadness/mood change that's began 5 days after and extreme exhaustion as well as extreme neck/back/shoulder stiffness/pain. Also 3 nights earlier this week while lying in bed I went to speak back at a voice that wasn't there and waved at someone that wasn't there! Haha kinda funny but a lil unnerving. Feels like my nerve endings are tingling all over my body. And cold feeling toes...I'm starting to think it's the med, lol, but hope there will be enough help in weight loss to outweigh the bad... I am on blood thinners right now and I need to lose weight so I would like to know if I can take Lipozene with a blood thinner? ## Lipozene is just a supplement that is claimed, but not proven to actually work for anything. The FDA does warn that is has caused nausea, heartburn, and diarrhea in some people that take it. Given that you are on blood thinners, which means you have a medical condition requiring them, I would suggest you not take anything, without checking with your medical provider. It may just be a supplement, but some of them can affect your INR.
