Dida is an over the counter herbal supplement that is claimed, but not proven, to help with gastrointestinal problems.
It contains oregano, olive leaves, potmarigold, thyme, cardamom, cloves, garlic, cinammon, fennel oil and peppermint oil.
It should be used with caution, because some of the herbs it contains, such as the peppermint oil, oregano and cloves can actually further irritate some gastrointestinal problems, such as gastritis and gas.
Side effects are not studied for these types of products, as is done for prescription medications.
