Dicorate Er 500 Weight Gain

I'm gaining more weight after taking this medicine along with lobazam 5mg, is it normal, what should i do to maintain my weight, i was 73 15 days ago now i'm 80 after 15 days.

Dicorate ER contains Valproic Acid, it is an anticonvulsant that's also used to treat some mood disorders and yes, it can cause weight gain as a side effect.
