Dicloxacill

This drug was prescribed for me when I had a rash or reaction from an insect bite or something...never really diagnosed. I never took it. My daughter is going overseas for the summer, and I'm told that antibiotics are hard to get there. What conditions is this drug used for?...strep throat? ear infections?.. I want to send it with her...just in case.

I was perscribed dicloxacill following a surgery for aninfecton/abcess. It is an antibiotic, not a super strong one though. Didn't have any serious side effects, mild nausia.
