Does Diane-35 affect hormonal balance?

I had unprotected intercourse during my last period on July 18th. I used diane 35 for 5 days after as an emergency contraception; 4 pills at 12 hour intervals. Can I be pregnant? I'm still waiting for my period now.

This is for my daughter. She is 29 years old and married. She is pregnant and without knowing that, she took DIANE-35 pills for 7 months. Will this affect the growth of the baby?

This is a hormonal contraception, it contains forms of estrogen, and progesterone, which are vital to a woman's overall cycle, and they are used in this capacity to prevent ovulation so she doesn't become pregnant. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms.

Joseph, it shouldn't, but she should make sure her doctor knows she was taking it, just to be safe.
