It isn't that old, so it may still be good, you'd need to check with your doctor on that.

However, the best thing to do would be to obtain a new supply, before going off on your trip to be sure that it's effective and safe.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, fatigue, drowsiness, depression and bitter taste.
