Diacerein Glucosamine Methyl

my mother age is 55 and she is suffering from knee pain from the last two years. the doctors advised her to take two pills of Diacerein Glucosamine Methyl daily and doctors further told that knee contains some kind of fluid and that fluid is decreased in the knees of my mother. I just want to ask whether this medicine is useful to her or not. because she can't walk properly.even, please advise me how i can help my mother.
