Dextromethorphan Cough Syrup Drug Test

Hi there,

I took a normal therapeutic dose of dextromethorphan around midnight to sleep and then submitted for my pre-employment drug screen the next day at 2 PM. I did not drink a lot of water since I tend to test diluted for some reason. Should I be worried?

Most employers don't even test for that since it is an over the counter drug. I don't know of many labs that would test for it in a hair sample. Even if they did it won't show up since you didn't do very much.
