Dextroamp Amphet Er 25 Mg

It's a white and orange capsule. Does anyone have feedback on it?

I had a Medtronic Drug (morphine) Infusion pump installed in January of 2010 for severe back issues including surgeries; lumbar fusions and rods and screws, cages, etc. I have scoleosis (?) in the thoracic and fusions and facet issues in the cervical spine. I am on a daily continuous dose of 21.474 mg plus 1.50 mg bolus (up to 10 daily) for a daily continuous flow of 35.886 mg/day. I seriously need the Adderall XR to help me stay awake. My insurance company only pays for the generic. I am on D-Amphetamine Salt Com ER/XR/25mg 2 x day. The manufacturer is Prasco. I have never heard of them. I have been taking this brand for at least 3 months and they ABSOLUTELY DO NOT work. All I want and can do daily is mope around and sleep. I cry because I am so tired and my husband cannot understand why I'm so tired. I have also gained 30 lbs. in the past 6 months. I do not have one piece of clothing in my closet that fits over my knees. Why can't I get authorization for name brand Adderall XR 30 mg to help me remain conscious. This is a serious issue for me and I cannot function without a medication made to help me. I think this Prasco is nothing more than a placebo. I'm so tired that I forget what I'm saying and forget the words to say it with. Can you tell me anything about this manufacturer and why this med does not work?

Alice, ADD is not something that they have a cure for, so it is highly likely someone will require lifelong treatment.

Once diagnosed with ADD and given Dextroamp-Amphet, are you on this medication for the rest of your life or do you get better?

Dextroamphetamine is a stimulant used to treat ADHD and Narcolepsy.

Common side effects may include: nausea, irritability, weight loss and insomnia.
