Dexilant - When To Take?

Hi - I was just described Dexilant 60 - I am just getting the Rx filled tonight - should I take 1 tonight and then keep it at night, or switch to morning or ??? Thanks!!

Dexilant contains the active ingredient Dexlansoprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

Thus, it's usually best to take it during the day, before a meal, so its working during the times your stomach will be producing the most acid to digest your food.
