I am exceedingly pill-sensitive. Nothing works for me like the old Dexedrine by Smth, Kline, Glaxoc. Is there any place in the world to obtain and fill a prescription for it?

The name brand for dexedrine was made for years by Barr and I was able to take their generic, Teva, without problem. I need it for severe ADHD, but also for energy and now that they sold the script to a US company, I tried several brands and they are not working. I can not get out of bed and function. Plus, I was on a dose of 100 mg. for 17 years and now Blue Cross only allows 60 mg, which is suboptimal for me. I need my lifeback. Any suggestions for what else might work?

I was told the same - my pharmacist tried to order more as I was picking up my prescription last week 'suspended indefinitely' ... I'm also extremely 'pill senstive' - I've tried a million different things....

It is still available in the U.S., but you may need your doctor to write a prescription as 'brand medically necessary' and to have a pharmacy order it in for you.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood swings and anorexia.

Has someone told you that it isn't available?
