Desvenlafaxine And Menstrual Cramps

I just started on the generic Pristiq a little over a month ago and along with all the other side effects I've seen people complain about on here (headaches, jaw pain, heartburn), I'm suffering from TERRIBLE menstrual cramps! I've never had cramps like this before. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure the two are even related, but I start taking this and all the sudden I'm having terrible cramps, so I'm wondering if there is a correlation.

Most medications in this class can cause such a side effect, according to NIH reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and mood swings.

If they become severe, or suddenly worsen, you should consult your doctor as this might not be the best medication for you.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
