i take the first shot of depotrust in the first day of my period, is it really normal to have a spotting? and on the second day still thesame, im worried whats happening, im a first timer using depotrust... pls reply

Hi ive been using depo over 3 yrs now and I was planning to stop it and take pills instead. . Mag due na po sa 1st week of October. . Can I take pills after? I heard na mgnda dw po ung althea sa skin..I want to give it a try since I break out with this injectable contraceptive. .lalo na po pg mag due na or frts week of it.. thanks

Almost a year n ko gumgmit. Ng injectable pro nagspotting lng regla ko then tumigil ako then febuary 2014 nagpshot ulit ako d na ulit ako nagpshoot pro niregla na ako tas now after 2 months pagtigil ko wla i miss my period almost 35 days n ko delay.. bumtis kya ako.. r

i take my first dose of depo lat october 30 but im worried, after a week im having heavy bleeding and its already 9 days....i dont know if its normal, or do i need to consult my OB?

I have taken a shot of depotrust for the 1st time last August 31,2013 without mentruation. Afterwards, I did not have my period the next month (Septrmber) but on October 8, i have my period and still have a mild bleeding until now. Is it alright? I used to have a regular menstruation period (5-6days monthly) before I take a shot. Should I take next shot this coming November? I'm wondering if it will be the same that I will bleed for a month (now) or will the real side effect of it will occur which is having your periods stop for 3 months while on depotrust injectable?

I have shot DMPA on October 10, 2013 and actually after the chat i dont experience any side effects for the first 20 days..but as of now im on 3 days straight spotting,is it still okey or normal? or should i seek for consultation. Is it okey to have Pap smear since i have been shot with DMPA. Thank you so much

I take a first shot of depotrust last January 2013 then I was told by my OB to be back on April for my 2nd shot but I did not coz I wanted to be back as normal but I never have my menstruation till now. Does it vary with my age coz I'm 47 right now.....

i take my first shot of depotrust on the first day of my period (march 12, 2013) and until now i'm still bleeding. When will it stop? I had my regular period before, i was advised by my doctor to have injected by depotrust to stop my menstrual period because of my submucous myoma. But i think it didn't help because i keep on bleeding.

Yes, it can be normal to have spotting and experience such irregular bleeding when you take any form of hormonal contraceptive, especially if you are new to taking it, so your body isn't used to it.
