Delaying Periods For Irregular Dates

Dear sir/ madam,
I have irregular periods and this time delayed by 40 days. I am getting married on 9th next month and need to delay my periods until January 23. I got primolut N over the counter but as it says I am supposed to use it 3 days before my periods and maximum for 14 days only. When should I start using it since I dont know when my periods will start
