Decreased Libido On .5mg / Increased Libido On 0.125mg

Hello. I am new to this site and have been reading some of the posts. Very interesting. I am having a problem, even though I am a nurse. When I was on Pramipexole 0.125 a little round pill. One of the side effects I enjoy or did enjoy was a seriously increased libido. Since going on .5MG I have yet to see an increase in my libido or being in the mood, so to speak. It's a football shaped white pill with PX 2 only on one side. They are scored tablets. Made by Glenmark. (0.5) wondering if I simply became tolerant to the med. or whether this manufacturer puts out garbage. I'm tempted to take 1MG and see what happens. I am becoming more and more frustrated every day because my days seem so boring. I really enjoy the tension and coming alive on this medicine. The NDC # for 0.125 tabs are 68462-0330-90 unfortunately at this time I do not have an NDC for the .5. What could be happening??? I have a hunch that .5MG tabs are made from a different manufacturer than 0.125MG tabs. Anyone else ever have this problem???

That has been listed as a reported side effect, according to the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, somnolence, dry mouth and urinary frequency.

However, most side effects are transient and tend to taper off in severity, or go away altogether, once your body gets used to the medication.

Have you been having a low libido for awhile? If so, that's something you might want to speak to your doctor about.

Yes I know that is a side effect but one in which I really enjoy. I don't want to get rid of it. I haven't had a low libido just an increase in it which I enjoy. I'm wondering if a different manufacturer could be responsible for the decrease in libido (Normal) when I switched strengths.
