Decilone Forte For Breastfeeding Moms

Hi, I've got some allergy reactions to some certain foods and products when i touches them. Taking decilone forte tablet have treated those allergies that is on my right palm...but now my concern is that from time to time my allergy occurs but while I'm giving breastfeeding to my 4-month old son...Is it safe for me to take the said tablet for my allergy? If nagtake po ba ko ng decilone forte para magpataba at nagpapa breastfeed ako. Anu po ba ang pweding maging side effect nito samin ng baby ko and for my fertility?

Decilone Forte contains the active ingredient Dexamethasone, which is a steroid class medication. The FDA warns that Dexamethasone does pass into breast milk, so please check with your doctor, before taking it, while breast feeding.

Generally, since an infant cannot consent to such testing, trials using it while a woman is pregnant, or breast feeding are not done, so there is no hard data on its safety.
