Debendox And Deafness
UpdatedMy son was born in 1979 and developed deafness by age 5 and is now in his 30s and is completely deaf unless using 2 hearing aids, does any one else know of this sign and symptom?

No, Debendox, as listed by the FDA, has not been known to cause such issues, when taken by the mother while pregnant.
It's actually been rigorously studied and shown not to cause such issues and to be safer than most other options, by several countries testing agencies.
It's only know side effects are usually drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
Deafness sometimes just happens, with no real explanation. Has he explored getting the hearing implants?
