De Chlor Dr Liquid Cyp

Hi my daughter is three years old right now she has a high temperature and upset stomach i'm wondering if this de chlor will do any justice until we reach the er?

De Chlor Dr Liquid is a combination medication used to treat symptoms caused by the common cold, flu, allergies, hay fever, or other breathing illnesses (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis).

Some otherwise 'alarming' information that I gathered states however that:
"these Cough-and-cold products have not been shown to be safe or effective in children younger than 6 years. Therefore, do not use this product to treat cold symptoms in children younger than 6 years unless specifically directed by the doctor. Some products (such as long-acting tablets/capsules) are not recommended for use in children younger than 12 years. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details about using your product safely."

For future reference, I would consider having a stocked supply of natural remedy solutions (herbs, essential oils, etc) that would pose less risk to a child of any age.

I wish you and your daughter the best and sincerely hope that you were able to get your daughter to the ER in time before using too much of this medication, as I found the list of possible side effects to be a bit daunting.
