I'm lost with day one starters. Say If my period starts on Wednesday do I start on Wednesday the fourth gray pill, top row? Or do I take the first gray pill in the pack under Sunday? And if I start on Wednesday and finish the pack do I just throw away the extra pills remaining or keep the pack, take those extra three at the top, and start another one?

The days listed on the pack are just a guideline to help people remember to take them, but you should start with the first active pill in the pack, on the first day of your period, regardless of the color, or the day printed there.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.
