This medication can cause some people to feel hyper, anxious, and nervous, according to the FDA. When I tried it, years ago, it made me feel like I drank several pots of coffee and I had to stop taking it, never did anything to change my smoking habits.
In most cases, side effects are transient, and will improve once your body gets used to a medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks.
If they worsen, or if they don't improve, you may need to try a different medication.
