Daughter Needs A Doctor That Prescribes Methadone In Louisville Ky

My daughter has facial pain and a motor cortex brain stimulator which relieves some of her pain. Methadone is the only drug which has allowed her to function, drive, go to school, etc. The liquid form works best because it is a continuous release. She is going to a Methadone clinic every day, but that is inconvenient. We are trying to find another provider in our area, Louisville, KY.

If she's going to an addiction clinic, that is more than likely going to cause a problem for you, I'm sorry to say.

What it comes down to is that any doctor can prescribe it for pain, they don't have to be specially trained to do so. However, they cannot prescribe it for addiction, so if that's what they have it labeled as in her medical records, then other doctors will shy away from helping her.

Has she ever tried pain management?
