Hello, John! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.
Is your allergy listed in your medical records? If not, that might be the problem. Suboxone is preferred, because it helps prevent the abuse of other medications, while someone is under treatment with it, as listed by the FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Thus, Subutex is a last resort and only used, when someone has documented dangerous allergies to Suboxone.
What type of reaction did you have to it?
What is your general location? That might enable someone to recommend a good doctor in your area.
