Dea And Tramadol

Yesterday I found out from my doctor that I will no longer be able to get refills on the only drug that I have found that works to relieve arthritis pain that has no side affects for me. I am in the process of composing a letter my congressman to express my displeasure with the DEA's decision to make Tramadol a controlled substance with no expectations of anything but lip service in response. It seems to me that the government agency that is in charge of keeping illegal drugs from entering our country and apparently can't make a dent in that, has chosen a lot easier target, older Americans with Arthritis . I encourage everyone that is in the same situation as I am to contact your congressional representatives and demand that they reel in a agency that seems to think that everything is going to make you adrug addict .

Bobby, you can also contact FDA at fda.gov and let them know what you think about the DEA decision. FDA and DEA seem to be hand in hand on a lot of the ridiculous decisions. Seems that DEA doesn't have enough work to do, so let's make Tramadol a controlled substance too, perhaps they can make a few arrests and make their record look better. I was watching a special on TV where the DEA was testifying before Congress, because DEA had placed marijuana on the same list as H. The Congressman asked the DEA representative if she was saying that marijuana is as harmful as H, at first she wouldn't give him a straight answer, then finally said yes. The Congressman questioned what medical research was DEA basing this on, again she wouldn't answer. So I figure the answer is, DEA just does whatever they feel like, with no research and no fact.
