Cymbalta Pros And Cons (Thread 318394)

I have been on Cymbalta for 3 months. I was prescribed it for nerve pain. I take it 2x daily but after reading about the withdrawal symptoms i eased into it. I still only take it once daily. I noticed a raise in my blood pressure at the start and odd headaches. I always take it with milk just to help with stomach issues. As far as how fast it works, I think all medicines react different to each individual. This medicine has helped tremendously with nerve pain. Good luck.

Yes, we are all different, so while the FDA and NIH can list details regarding certain common side effects, there is no way to know how any medication will affect any given person. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, weight changes, and mood swings.

Are you on any other medications? Have you experienced any other side effects?
