Cymbalta - Pros And Cons (Thread 173043)
UpdatedSide effects will go away after a week or so. I take this medication for joint pain and it made me sick in the begining. I started out with 30mg then went to 60mg and now have no side effects at all.

I was given a RX for 60 mg of cymbalta, but I'm not depressed/ect. I have lupus. Does this seem right?
Yes, Cymbalta has been shown to be effective in alleviating certain types of nerve pain as well as being an antidepressant. It does not work for everyone though, but you should try it for about 2 weeks or so, then you will see if it helps you at all.
