I started out on 50 mcg/daily a few years ago. Then it recently increased to 75. I felt good and life was good. Then the doc increased it to 88. After 1 week, that's too much for me. I'm sleepy but can't sleep. I have increased thirst and hunger, which isn't a good thing. I also have neck and shoulder pain. And my test came out in the middle of the range at 75. So that's it. I'm dropping back to 75. I'm listening to my body. Quality of life is important to me. So that's what I'm doing. I'll wait a few days and see how I am. If I'm good again, I'll call the doc & leave a message.

Did you talk to your doctor about it?
Sometimes, it is necessary to do what's best for yourself and, if it was causing that many problems after just a week at that dosage, is likely that it would have just gotten worse in another few weeks. However, you should always check with your doctor, before adjusting the dosage of any medication on your own.
