When I was in a nursing/rehab home I crashed 2 times. They were cutting/crushing my morphine pills cause it was hard for me to swallow. I had had a heart pump and respirator used on me for a few days while in the hospitals. Is there any kind of morphine pills that can be broken/crushed? Just wondering. Not suing anyone. Its been 3 years.

creek1956, Extended Release/Long Acting Meds Cannot be crushed or cut because with the way they are made, you could get too much at one time. Immedicate release meds are different. I'm sure that the morphine you received in the nursing facility was immedicate release and not extended release/long actiing. As long as you didn't suffer any great Irréversible harm that was due to neglience that is below the standard of care when you live, you have no legal suit. Also, in most states the statute of limitation is less than three years for this type of litigation.
