I get so much of lower back pain on my periods time.. Especially 4th day is hell..I get lower back pain and heavy blood flow..I was taking pill to stop the pain but it ll stop the blood flow as well. Some women do not experience periods, while taking an oral contraceptive and there is nothing wrong with that, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Other side effects, as listed by the NIH may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.
It will not cause a problem in the future, when you wish to become pregnant.
