Is Covatil 250 an antibiotic? If so, which diseases is it used to treat and what dose per day is recommended for a child and for an adult?

Covatil contains the active ingredient Cefuroxime, this is an antibiotic, so it is not used to treat diseases, but rather bacterial infections in the body.

The dose depends on age, weight and the severity of the infection being treated. What did your doctor recommend?

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and dizziness.
