I'm using co-pritor for 9 months. Suddenly i'm experiencing severe muscle pains especially in my upper arms. It seems to get better as I move but at night cant sleep due to pain.This pain is worst in the morning and my wrists is also affected struggelling and painfull to start the day. I also had surgery for maligma carcinoma on my right shoulder a month ago and now it is starting to pain and burn. Now the muscle pains is it due to the medication or to the operation?

My guess would be that you're right and it's most likely due to the medication. This is listed as containing Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, it can very easily cause dehydration, which may be the reason for these symptoms.
How much fluid do you take in daily?
The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
