Hi mijaja,
Any pill with no imprint could literally be anything from A to Z. I think your best bet in this type of scenario would be to have it analyzed by a lab or drug panel to at least verify the presence of opiates/etc... Did you get this pill from a pharmacy on the web or through some other means?
If I had to guess I would agree with you that it's probably not of US origin, being that the FDA requires imprints on their prescription drugs. However, it doesn't rule out the possibility of something over-the-counter or foreign and for that reason alone I think you'll need a more trustworthy (or evidence-based) way to verify and measure its contents.
