Cost Of Eliquis
UpdatedEven with good insurance, my out of pocket cost for a month of 5 mg Eliquis is $155. Does anyone know of any ways to assist with this cost?

Call the pharmaceutical company and explain your situation I got many months of free meds this way also ask your doctor they have samples with a free 30-day Supply attached
Canada Drugs is usually priced lower. Don't let Big Pharma scare you, they are tightly regulated.
Check out their web site, you can price your drug on line.
There is a place called Caring Collation that help people with meds if they can't pay for them and don't make a whole lot of money. Also Caring Voices. Look those up on the computer.
Maybe your doctor can switch you to Xarelto, our CVS Caremark plan costs $115 for a 3 month supply, with a $24 a month premium for the plan.
Look up Caring Coalition or Coalition Voice. They helped me at one point until they realized we made too much money. Mine is only $18 for 3 months with my insurance so it works out well for me. Hope you find some help. I took Eliquis for a few months and ended up bleeding internally and had to have several transfusions and go off it.
MedsChat also offers a free pharmacy coupon that can reportedly save you an average of 15% to 75% off the cost of your prescription at: Rx Savings Card
Just print that card out and take it with you to your local pharmacy to find out how much you can save.
I don't know if the amount of savings varies based on location or the type of medication it is, but I'd definitely consider looking into it as a last resort option to cut down on costs.
Best wishes~
